When will my order ship?

If you want to gift someone with our cardkaboom card, remember that your order will be shipped within 2-3 business days, add time for delivery. 

 

Where is my package?

You can track the shipment by entering the shipment number on the website of the supplier of your choice, which we sent you to the e-mail address provided during the order.  

 

I made a mistake while placing the order, now what?

Write to us immediately at info@cardkaboom.com with information about the error. We will let you know what we can do. After printing or sending the order, it is not possible to change or return the product due to an error of the ordering party.

 

I would like to change the photo on the order, is it possible? 

Unfortunately, it is not possible to change photos after placing an order.

 

I ordered some cards so I can see which is which? 

Your ordered cards will be marked in such a way that you can distinguish them in the package.

 

Is the card ready to explode? Should I open the envelope? 

The envelope with your cardkaboom will be delivered in a postal envelope. Do not open the white envelope with the paper inside. Give it to the recipient of the gift :)

 

Is cardkaboom suitable for all ages? 

Cardkaboom cards can reach a height of 1 meter when first opened. We trust the customer's assessment that the card they created is appropriate for the one they selected.

 

How long can the card stay in the envelope?

Due to the loss of elasticity of the eraser on the cube, we recommend opening the product up to 2 months after receiving the card.

 

Can I return the card? 

All custom cards are non-refundable. Ready cards can be returned unchanged to our company CardKaboom 6601 N Avondale Ave Suite 200 Chicago IL 60631.

Where can I find templates where I can put graphics for printing?

Write to us at info@cardkaboom.com, we will send them to you.

 

Do I need to know about any rules when designing?

Yes, here are some rules:

• We will achieve the highest print quality from a PDF file containing vector data. Generate a PDF file with bleeds in the PDF / X1a: 2001 standard from a graphics program, Acrobat 4 (PDF 1.3) compliance using image compression up to 300 DPI 
• We also accept designs in JPG formats that do not contain vector data - print quality may be lower.
• Texts and important graphics, photos, logos and all elements that do not constitute the background of the project and are not to be cut should be placed at a distance of 3 mm / 0.12 inch from the edge of the final (net) size of the work.
• Convert text to curves
• Minimum font size - for texts consisting of four colors, the smallest font size that should be used is 8 points. They don't use too thin a font.
• The file for printing should be prepared in the CMYK
• Mode Black texts should be filled in only 100% K. Never write black texts in 4 colors.
• Color saturation should be min. 8%.
• The file should have bleeds, i.e. areas extending beyond the cutting edge on each side, at least 2 mm / 0.08 inch

 

What is the time to process the order ?

We try to make orders as quickly as possible. However, for various reasons, e.g. seasonality - holidays, the terms may be different.  The standard time from accepting the project by the client is from 1 - 2 weeks.
